When I first heard about this vid, I was a bit confused. Was Jungkook from BTS diversifying and doing his own thing by making sleep ASMR videos? Was sleep ASMR becoming that popular that pop stars were quitting their jobs to do this?

Noooo. What’s happening is that opportunistic ASMR producers were grabbing audio captures of Jungkook and using them to create vids that his fans would use to help them fall asleep. Maybe it’s using the videos to pretend that they were his girlfriend, or to imagine that he was there sleeping next to them. At any rate, it’s super interesting how many of these there are.
