As an Aussie, there’s nothing I like more than going to a cafe, getting a soy latte, opening up my MacBook and relaxing. There’s something comforting about the ambient noise that you get in a cafe: noises of baristas doing their thing, coffee machine hissing and burbling, the low buzz and murmur of people deep in their own conversations. This experience would have been harder in COVID times, as cafes weren’t open. That’s why these videos would have increased in popularity.
