Sleep ASMR is a mysterious but popular trend that’s become quite popular over the last few years. It’s been particularly brought about COVID-19, with people trapped in their own homes, unable to access critical mental health services, they had no choice but to go online to find respite.
Cue entry of sleep ASMR videos. Essentially, they make use of “triggers” that relax you and eventually put you to sleep. Popular ones are:
- face touching,
- brushing hair,
- whispering,
- inaudible whispering,
The list goes on. People have also gotten quite creative with their videos. Here’s an example of a few more below.
